The River Room Venue

Perched above the Tuki Tuki River looking directly at the dramatic eastern face of Te Mata Peak. The River Room is at our new luxury retreat location called Riverside.

The River Room is set up with indoor and outdoor areas perfect for all day meetings, private dinners or small functions. It has its own fully equipped kitchen and separate bathroom. It has and indoor and an outdoor fireplace, it is totally private with spectacular views upstream, downstream and directly across to Te Mata Peak. ^Cellular Network Coverage Note to Vodafone customers: Unfortunately while The River Room is minutes from civilisation it is still well outside Vodafone’s coverage area. With the exception of very specific spots, your Vodafone (usually 021) phone will probably not work here. We apologise for the inconvenience however your Telecom (usually 027) phone will work and wireless broadband is available. If you are travelling from overseas we would advise you against purchasing Vodafone SIM cards for calls or internet connections in this area.

It can be booked in conjunction with our luxury retreats along the Tuki Tuki River valley where up to 30 people can sleep in The River Houses, The Lodges and Summerlee. A corporate retreat can include guided fly fishing, golf at the new world renowned Cape Kidnappers Golf course, wine tastings and fully catered meals.
